Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Toolcrafts is a website that provides online file conversion tools.

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, you can contact: info@toolcrafts.tech

2. What this Privacy Policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit Toolcrafts or use its tools, why that information may be processed, and what rights you may have in relation to that processing.

3. Files you upload for conversion

When you use a conversion tool, the file you upload is processed so that the requested converted output can be generated and returned to you.

Uploaded files may be handled temporarily in server memory, temporary processing environments, or other technical systems needed to complete the conversion request.

Depending on how the service operates at a given time, uploaded files or related technical records may also appear in temporary storage, server logs, monitoring systems, security systems, or backup systems where reasonably necessary for reliability, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, security, disaster recovery, or legal compliance.

Toolcrafts is intended for ordinary file conversion use. Please do not upload files containing sensitive personal data, confidential business information, or material that you would not want processed by an online service.

4. Analytics

Toolcrafts uses self-hosted Umami analytics to understand general website usage and improve the service.

In its standard privacy-focused setup, Umami states that it does not use cookies for tracking, does not track people across websites, and does not collect personal data through its tracking code.

Analytics information may include aggregate or technical usage data such as page views, referring websites, device type, browser, screen size, country-level location, pages visited, and similar non-personal usage patterns.

Toolcrafts uses Neon-hosted PostgreSQL infrastructure to store analytics-related data and associated service data.

5. Server logs, security, and abuse prevention

Like most websites and online services, Toolcrafts may process technical information needed to keep the website secure, available, and reliable.

This may include information such as IP addresses, timestamps, request paths, response status codes, user-agent strings, device or browser information, referrer information, error reports, and other technical event data.

This information may be used to detect abuse, investigate technical problems, monitor performance, prevent fraud or misuse, secure the service, recover from failures, and maintain business continuity.

6. Storage, backups, and retention

Information processed through the website may be stored for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect the service, resolve technical issues, comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and maintain backups or disaster recovery systems.

Because online services rely on hosting infrastructure, databases, logs, and backups, certain information may remain in secure backup copies or technical archives for a limited period even after it is no longer actively used.

Toolcrafts aims to keep data retention proportionate to the purpose for which the information was processed.

7. Service providers and hosting

Toolcrafts may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the website and its tools, including hosting, storage, database, security, analytics, monitoring, and delivery services.

At present, this includes self-hosted Umami analytics and Neon-hosted PostgreSQL infrastructure for analytics-related data and associated service data.

Information may be processed in the countries where these providers operate or where their infrastructure is located, subject to the technical and organizational safeguards used by those providers and by Toolcrafts.

8. Legal bases for processing

Toolcrafts may process information where necessary to provide the requested file conversion service, maintain the security and reliability of the website, understand overall usage of the service, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate business interests such as service continuity, abuse prevention, and fraud detection.

9. Your rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to request access to personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise a privacy right or ask a question about this Privacy Policy, contact: info@toolcrafts.tech

10. Children

Toolcrafts is not intentionally directed at children. If you believe that personal data relating to a child has been provided through the website inappropriately, please contact info@toolcrafts.tech.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the website, its tools, legal requirements, or the way information is processed. The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date.
